### Went back for more while the largemouths are hitting hard
Mariners opening day today, 2024 season. We caught some huge fish today at the urban spot again. Think I got my personal record largemouth and it definitely put up the best fight I've had since I started fly fishing.
MJ started things off with a purdy bluegill in her M's gear.
After getting my flies tangled up in some hidden branches in the water, I landed this guy.
Landed a small blue gill immediately after.
My PR largemouth. I yelled to MJ, "I got a big fish on!" and had a 30 second fight with it to get it in to the bank. MJ assisted with landed it in the net. About a minute later a lady on a golf cart kicked us out.
