### Family gathering at the in-laws in Belton for the eclipse Started things off in Georgetown. We finally got to stop by Living Waters Fly Shop, picked up some flies for a couple days of fishing while we were there. Then we went to brushy creek for a little wade fishing. MJ is a pro sight fisher. Found a little pool/reservoir of fish that we pulled a few out of. We loved wading around the wagon wheel tracked limestone creek bed. Water was crystal clear, fish were a little skittish. Fish Photo 1 Exploring around a park entrance to the creek. Not much action here. Did see another fly fisher here. Landed like 30-40 fish. Brian got about 10 himself and it was his first time fly fishing. Fish Photo 6 Fish Photo 7 Fish Photo 8 Fish Photo 9 Fish Photo 10 Fish Photo 11 Weird hybrid fish maybe? Or just a bland giant green sunfish. Either way this ol' boy was a lunker. Fish Photo 12
